I notice that there are many people that don't know where to find seforim online.

At www.spertus.edu, you can join the library- fairly inexpensive- I think $50 for 2 years, and get full access to their online database, which includes the bar ilan cd, the encyclopedia judaica, the jewish encyclopedia, sefer aggadah, and a few others.

There's an enormous amount of free online material here. When I'm online I can usually find what I'm looking for from one of the links. The material is in different formats so it's not all equally usefull. Here are some useful examples:

Megillat Ta'anit

Tanach, Shas, Yad Ha-Chazakah (you can copy and post to h.com posts from this format)

Ben Ish Chai

Pirkei Derabbi Eliezer

but if you click around here you'll find a tremendous amount of material when you don't have your seforim accessible.

Problem is, you're all enjoying the fruits of a terrible aveirah. I found the site because I did a search for "jts library" and came up with this. This site was the link if you scroll down to
"Halacha Brura
* E-books of rabbinic literature".

as far as I know, all the free links on this thread are already in post #59 in the pinned thread. let me know if something is missing.

that said, I will b'n add the Spertus link as a non-free link when I have a chance to edit.

Actually, the Internet can solve that problem!!!! You need to find a site that translates things from Hebrew to English. Perhaps others here can help us find such sites. I'm having trouble finding them. (English to Spanish is a lot easier to find.) Then copy and paste from the online sefer to the translation website and it will be in English.
When I subbed in Bushwick I had kids who only spoke Spanish. I got articles from Time for Kids and translated them into Spanish that way. I even wrote questions in English and translated them that way. Thus the kids read stuff in Spanish but I new what they were reading so it bridged the language gap.

freelang.net has free human translation for shorter (ie don't send in a book) pieces.
