Senior Java Developer/Architect
Our client, a major NY financial software firm is looking to hire a Lead
Java/Architect and a few Senior Java Developers for their Ra'ananah,
Israel R&D branch.
General Requirements for Team Lead: 5 years of professional OO
programming out of at least 10 years overall experience, full project life cycle
from conception through maintenance. Good communication and leadership
skills.
Fluency in English is a must as the job calls for the Israel office to
work closely with the NY developers, share the same process, standards and
respect for writing good code.
Technical Requirements for all developers include:
. 5 yrs experience with Object Oriented languages and design
. 4 yrs experience with Java
. Exposure to a financial services environment
. Excellent technical analysis and design, as well as problem-solving skills
. Good inter-personal, communication, skills
. Must be comfortable with both Unix/Linux and Windows
Nice to haves:
. Math background
. Experience with f/x, options analysis and pricing would be a big plus
. Web/application server development experience is a big plus
. Familiar with current trends in:
Java application development
. SQL, PLSQL
. Database design
. Python
. C++
. Understanding of network protocols
. JMS and other messaging tools and concepts (Middleware)
