I went to a Tupperware party last night, and there is no one is Crown Heights doing Tupperware; it's a huge opportunity for the right person!

I think he may have also mentioned it in one of his sichos-- something about the Rebbe discount for bulk purchases of Rubbermaid.

Would you really like me to explain al pi pnymius hainyanim why I think the Rebbe would object to tupperware? And how it signifies the closed non-chabad derech of teaching Torah and Mitzvos and the antithesis of "Ufaratzta"? I can if you insist.

I didn't think so.....

Geeze, take it easy. My point still stands. (And yes, I would have said the same for the Boyaner or Vishnitzer Rebbes...(

OK, I'm sorry there's no need to yell bigcry.gif

But have you really never been told that "The Rebbe was against something" or "The Rebbe invented this that or the other thing" with absolutely no factual basis whatsoever for the statement? And then when you ask them to show you where the Rebbe says such a thing, they say "Oh I heard that once at a farbrengen".

If not you are lucky......

Sorry but there's a difference between speculating on the meaning of words and plain making fun. I may be a sinner, but Kovod is something I still believe in...
