Brief Description of Duties:

Visit with Jewish patients.
Ensure patients who are observant receive medical care and food that is consistent with their religious needs.
Conduct special services to include Passover and Chanukah services for hospital patients and personnel.
Provide and conduct funeral and memorial services for patients and their families when necessary.
Participate in conferences of various groups to explain needs and requirements of Jewish patients.
Meet with fellow spiritual care staff.
Answer religious and spiritual questions and help those cope with their stay at University Hospital.

Other Duties: All other duties as assigned.

Special Notes: This position may require the wearing of respiratory protection, which may prohibit the wearing of facial hair.
