The company I work for, a very large financial firm based in NY with many offices elsewhere, is looking to hire people for computer programming and project development. Positions available from junior programmer/analyst (entry level ok) to Project managers.

Primary skills required, in order of importance: C++, SQL, UNIX (OS and preferably some shell scripting)

Secondary skills desired but not required: Java, basic web-development skills, basic knowledge of finance

The pay is usually on the higher end of the range for these types of positions, and the hours are on the long side. Includes medical, dental, 401k, pension, etc. Contact me with serious inquiries.
