I was wondering if anyone knows of a program where a college student (at an American University) can find an internship (preferably in biotech but anything goes) in Israel. Said college student, is majoring in biomedical engineering at one of the best programs in the country, speaks very very little hebrew, and is willing to volunteer (food & housing or ticket to israel would be nice though?)
Time to learn in a yeshiva would be nice (I'm assuming that I'm not going to be working 24hrs per day so I can arrange this much myself...) Umm good student, nice boy, etc etc etc...
ideas?

Consult your local Hillel - they have programs like that.

check the website for legacy heritage fund, i think they may have a program for that.
Edit: Their website is www.lhfl.net. However, I just checked it. unfortunately, their science internships are in the summer, and they're for high school students. they have internships for graduating seniors and grad students, however it's for government leadership internships. however, they may be a good contact, u can try contacting them to see if they know of a program for what you're looking for.
