What are your plans for Yom Haatzmaut? I'm stuck at work! Yuck! Could you believe it? Guess that's the down side of working for an American based company. In any case I may get out for a few hours if there's something going on in Yerushalayim?

So what are you up to tomorrow. Or if you are reading this after Yom Haatzmaut how did you spend it?

I haven't yet decided whether to celebrate or mourn......

Celebrate. We have the privilege to live in E"Y today, made possible by Hashem through the mechanism of the State of Israel.

It's not quite the way you'd like it to be? At least we are here and have the opportunity to strive for a better future.

We'll be having the traditional BBQ get together with our gang of friends. One of the few times there's a day off when we can travel.

I might catch a few minutes at a friend's party, and I'm going to a nice program tonight, but tomorrow is a regular work day here...
