My son told me this evening about a bad accident that occurred in town yesterday afternoon on the main street. The brother of one of my son's friends slowed (on a motorcycle) to make a turn and the car behind him didn't slow down and ran over him. It tore one of his legs completely off. Doctors reattached it and he can move his toes today, but it's just awful. The guy's only 30 y/o.

His name is Venanzio, that's all I know of his name. I don't know him personally, but his brother is my son's friend whom I have met. If he's anything like his younger brother (my son's friend), he's a sweet person.
