There definitely is an art to biceps flexing, and it must be perfected for me to notice it.

Shalva isn't the only female here who likes muscle-y men.

I'm sure I can scrounge up some others.

Somehow, I'm guessing that the three states you had in mind weren't Arizona, Nevada, and California.

Pity, because otherwise, I'd know of a job. . .

You're leaving Israel?

You're leaving Israel?

Yes, unfortuantely, unless there are any really good paying jobs for my husband in Israel.

No construction jobs in Israel?

ETA: Oh, "good paying"...

I guess you won't have to make friends with that girl after all.

Is your husband a contractor or a construction worker? I'd imagine it would be hard to be a religious Jewish construction worker.

There's a big difference between construction worker, contractor, and handyman. Is he able to put a new deck on a house or redo someone's bathroom? Or, is he the guy who comes over and fixes the rickety metal railing on the front steps of someone's house?

There are legal things too. It's not that difficult to get a work permit, or work online from a company in the states, or if you are as serious about staying as you claim you are then you can make aliyah.

Where are you living now? People that really want to stay don't live in the middle of yerushalayim and say they can't afford to stay.
I think your material standards and comforts might be more important to you than staying in E"Y. You should examine that.

In my opinion, I wouldn't be going to E"Y and not live in Yerushalaim. For me to live in Beitar or Bet Shemesh or Kiryat Sefer would be stupid. If I can't be in Yerushalaim, not worth it IMO.

Do you not believe in the rest of E"Y being holy and stuff? <scratches head>
