Any advice? Say I want to download every file in this directory but don't want to download them individually?

I am not much better than a novice, judging by some of the tech experts here, so explain it simply please. smile.gif

Download the attachment, look it over, and then using wget (available for windows and *nix):

CODE
wget -i listing.txt

I'm not sure if you're using Windows or Unix/Linux. In Unix/Linux the files are saved in the directory from which you called the command. For example, if you were in /home/artscroll and ran the wget command, the files would be saved in /home/artscroll.

On Windows it may be different. You can always do a search for one of the filenames on your computer.

Windows. Never mind; I found it. Thanks!

Here's an article on wget and its multitude of uses:

Very cool indeed.

This PDF provides documentation on wget and its options. I'm finding the ability to recursively go through a directory and only download a certain kind of file extremely useful.

Cool.

Cool.

If you are a Windows user it pays to download cygwin and learn a little bit about unix command line tools. Cygwin is a free program for windows that gives you a unix command line, which makes it trivial to do all sorts of things that are impossibly difficult in windows.

I concur. Cygwin (and UWIN if you're a bit older) are the best things since sliced crack for Windows users.

But are they better than cooked coke and heroin sandwiches? It's surely not any tastier than lucy in the sky with a tinge of toad DMT.
