When did this happen? I did not hear about Circa being shut down. By the way, this should be moved to a different section, possibly Bulletin Board, or News.
Flippy
The one in Brooklyn has been closed since the summer.
Pinchas
Are you talking about the Circa downtown?
Red Hare
Downtown is def. OPEN!
itreu001

Are you sure it's not just that it's closed cuz it's Sunday? Also, there is another Circa not in Midtown, but downtown, by Dey St., in the financial district. I don't think this one is closed- I eat there every day.
Pinchas
It a good thing too...there aren't too many kosher places downtown. A bunch of them closed down.
BroadwayFreak
I just called the midtown location, they have NOT closed.
Lady9
Phew, that was scary!
Red Hare
There is a lot of construction downtown and Dey Street may look closed. But Circa is there, I walk by them almost every single day!

Shir, what do you eat at Circa? I have a hard time finding something I like on their menue...
Goldfish
FYI, for anyone who eats downtown, the pita place on Ann St. is in the process of getting the OU.
enigma
Me@t Circa is no longer under the OU; I don't have any information about whose hashgacha they are under now.
Red Hare
Really, Goldfish? That's great news !!

It is - they made the best falafal... and it was only like 3 bucks. It was great.

But while I trusted Ner Tamid - K for falafal I never got any meat there...

Wonder what this will do to the prices?
Red Hare
well, the ou doesn't work for nothing.....

I used to get their pasta dishes, but they have recently started with their pasta bar, which does not look appetizing to me. I currently alternate between salad, soup, and pizza, which I find to all be good. Also, their sushi is not bad, the only reason I don't get it is because it doesn't fill me up.
