Incidentally, when did saying "Gut Voch" versus "Shavua Tov" (or vice versa) become a political statement?

this weather.....gosh
i always get this "i'm soo wasted" feeling when im on the street in this heat...

gut voch! i hope everyone's shabbos was not as eventful as mine let's see power failure, bbqs all over the street, storming, heat, firecrackers and illegal fireworks, no minyan for a little bit at shul, group discussion about negia, shabbos kallah, geirim and prospective geirim at the table...quite busy this shabbos

Finally an uneventful Shabbos B"H (no speaking...hehe) and the wine was good too (as maybe u can tell... )

well we ran out fo grape juice here...so....anyway, shabbos was awesome, and beautiful, and whatever other adjectives i used especailly xylophone-less, though my father did discuss that as the start of his musical abilities...i saw "my babies" and decided that the one year old likes me better than her parents. i also brainwashed her into saying my name, and she doesn't even say mommy or dada yet but i did have to speak, as i think i will for the rest of the summer, but it was okay.
so i hope everyone is smiling just like me cause it will make your voch all the more "gut".

You ran out of grape juice too? So did we...........we had to hear havdala by my parents.

A gitte voch, y'all................................Shabbos was nice.......adjectives or none. Hope yours was the same!

oh we had more in the basement...tons of it. we order it by cases pesach time, but we don't open bottles on shabbos, so...

any time. nebach, i barely made anything for shabbos this week (gave my mother the honor) so there's no leftovers...except challah. that was some of the best i've made ever. in like the seven or so years i've been making it. one challah left...auctioning starts now.

OK. it seems like you people have no semblance on how a 'forum' works. you don't need to create a good shabbos forum or a good morning forum so that you can say good shabbos. (BTW - its called a TOPIC, not a FORUM). so if you want to say good shabbos, PM yout friend or start a new topic every week. but dont use the same topic from 50 weeks ago. thats ridiculous.

Gut Voch all! Shabbos will be out for you soon neway...the question is, should I post Gut Voch before or after I catch up on the other posts? Can the other posts affect whether it will be a Gut Voch...?

Please spell corectly (if you need help download the spellchecker for IE at ie spell -it is very helpful). Don't post in all caps, don't abreveate too much- it makes things difficult for others to read!

I nap on shabbos- and it throws me off. IYH tomorrow (normal time) I will make a "Hints for New Posters" Thread (and it will stay on topic- lol) so I don't have to repost my shpeal every time someone goes "hi, I joined, now what?"

oh, and use the edit button to add/change/correct your post instead of leaving your mistakes thereor posting many times in a row. Thats what its there for folks!

I know what you mean...Sometimes when I quote someone, it takes me a sec to remember that it's someone else's writing and I shouldn't go and correct it. (I'm always thinking, now when did I misspell that? )
