I looked at the subjects which were permissible in this section.
They are:

Sales, Rides, Listings, Real Estate. Strictly Business.

It implies that this section is for business ads.

I did NOT spam, or violate the rules of the forum.

With respect to the event I posted (he is a friend of mine).

The event is free (although they ask for voluntary contributions).

If you look at their website, you will see that there are NO ads.

In addition to that support group, I have posted notices on the NYC SHuls List on behalf of the OU
They post numerous messages on our list.

The OU also has services for Jewish adults who have special needs.

As to the Health Care...

There may be students that subscribe. There may also be people who are older.

If you live in NYC, and have just lost your job, it can be emotionally devastating, especially if you
have a familly to take care of.

As a moderator of several mail lists myself, I am careful about what I post, and which sections I post in.

If I appear agressive, that's becasue I ahve over 20 yrs experience in sales & marketing, and the web is an easy forum to use to reach a large amount of people.

All I'm asking, though, is that you also contribute a little to h.com, as I love when new people join, and I get excited whenever there's new input. It hurts my feelings when I feel you're just on this forum so you can advertise, even if what you're posting is non-profit.

You're right in that you posted everything in the right subforums, and that's not what was bothering me. Technically, you're not breaking any rules. And like I've mentioned before, I don't really mind when people advertise. I'd just like to see you share some of yourself with all of us, your thoughts and opinions, etc., in return. I'm sure you have lots to say, and if you wouldn't mind being an active participant, I have a feeling we could all learn something from you.
