Have you?

Not by E-mail but I have seen sites that offer high rates of interest and then after some investigation have found that they are not FDIC insured.
Goldfish
No idea. I don't open any spam e-mails.

Well that definitely explains ING. Just kidding... Or maybe not??? Is ING FDIC insured?

That doesn't prove anything. Most investments aren't FDIC insured. Only bank accounts are.

CDs, savings, checking accounts should always be unless they are through a credit union where they should be NCUA insured which is the same thing

Those aren't investments, they're bank accounts.

Very Lucky Guy
If you type interest rates or savings account rates into google, one will pop up on the right side of the screen. They are based in some G-d forsaken country and promise yields of up to 9% depending how much money you put in and the term length. I am surprised Google allows this. I guess I shouldn't be really.
