Does the city get sandstorms similar to other desert cities (ex. the whole city turning orange for 15-20 minutes)? If so, how bad?

I can't speak for Beersheba but I know even here in Yerushalayim we get sandstorms once in a while...

A few weeks ago there was one. It got really really hot outside all of a sudden and the cars and everything was covered in a layer of dust. Also got a bit hard to breathe outside...
