It's very easy to use and their site is very user-friendly. I would put that as their best selling point.

If you go to bankrate.com you can find a number of other online banks which offer higher savings rates than ING. Right now ING is offering 4.5% and you can find others around 5.25%. However, for a person who values ease of service and simplicity then ING is the way to go. Their statements are easy to read and understand. Transactions are easy to make, and easy to track. They also offer CD's above 5%.

Yes, we do. I think it was fairly easy to open -- don't really remember a hassle. Got a bonus for opening it.
It's easy enough to use if you are always online and remember your account number. That's my one big problem -- my account info is at home, and my computer is at work. But to transfer money is very simple and very worthwhile.

Use smth like yahoo notepad, or write it down in an email you can always access.

I echo the other positive comments, it's been a great account for me.

That's not so safe.

I use an Orange account and have been very happy with them.

I don't like to do that for security reasons.

Actually, I almost know it by heart...

spell out the numbers backwards in arameic.

or come up with a simple arithmetic code to it that only you know
(first digit add 1, second digit add 5, third digit add , fourth digit add 5, etc. or any similar pattern...very hard for anyone to know what system you used, and if you don't say in the file what the number is for, you're even better off)

I have ING and EmigrantDirect. Happy with both.

Hee hee. I never used that. Nor do I plan on using it. I was throwing out something off the top of my head. B"H I have a knack for numbers and usually can remember them offhand (library card numbers, all phone numbers I've ever been at, my bank account number from when I was a kid...this is a fairly new one, and I think I have it downpat in my memory, but still want to doublecheck for the next few times) smile.gif
