How does one go about deleting an AIM Sn?

Ok, I deleted my screenname. I was able to do this because the name was created originally as a proper AOL email address. The problem is, even if you find a way to delete the SN, you can reactivate it for the next 3 months (which I ended up doing as I couldn't resist anymore).

What's if it isn't an AOL email address ? how is it different?

Well, I just deleted the whole account name from within AOL. I'll try to do some research to see if it's possible to delete it otherwise.

Oh well, I guess I am indeed out of luck (though its not like I ever had that much to begin with...)

Ha, well I don't think it will really make a difference...besides, usually if you actively work on forgetting something you remember it even more.

To whomever it may concern, I have uninstalled AIM from my computer, I do not intend to to reinstall or use it any time in the (foreseeable) future.
