Refuah sheleima. How's she doing? And how are you holding up?

b'H she came out of the ICU on friday, after being weaned off of the resperator on thursday, after being on it for almost two weeks..
shes still in the hospital, last night she had to have surgery again, but is doing well.
the doctor said shes a miracle... she was in complete sepsis(sp?) and on complete life support two weeks ago.
b'H shes almost ready for rehab. (in a week or maybe less)

I'm so glad to hear that she's on the path towards a full recovery.

Now that the dust is settling, please take a few minutes to do something nurturing for yourself. It's so important to avoid caregiver burnout.

update, b'H my mom is in rehab.... and... is probably getting discharged on thursday (stupid insurance policies)...hopefully she'll do well
