When: Tuesday, August 28th.

Where: Amazon Cafe, 1123 Quentin Rd Corner of E12th St.

Plan: Eat there, then go somewhere to hang out. Like the boardwalk for example.

How to get there: By train, take the B or the Q to Kings Highway station and walk a few blocks towards E12th.

Who can come: Anyone on h, their friends, etc. Spread this information around and we will have a good
attendance.

I think I'm catching a ride with a friend to White Plains tomorrow for "work," so I may not be back in Queens until around 6:30 or 7:00 pm, and it'd be much easier for me to meet people in Queens than to contemplate the long and arduous trip to Brooklyn.

And this Amazon place seems to have high prices; if the assumption is that h.com'ers are rich, why not just meet in Manhattan? I guess the reasonably priced places are all in Boro Park.

now, the main problem for brooklynites - is anyone volunteering to drive? and if that someone or another would be coming back to Brooklyn after the concert, skipping the eatery in queens, if that would become the case?

... inasmuch as i love all h.commers dearly, i'm not willing to shlep on the train/bus in the evening either way. call me spoiled, but there is only this much time and strength i have. and most probably queens eatery would have to be out for me.

i just remembered that i won't be in the office till noon and then we are expecting some special visitors, so i'll be busy with that and won't be able to be on top of everything here. i really hope it'll happen, though.

There'd probably be a bigger turnout if I didn't come. I've been to three meets in the last two weeks at which I met a total of four people. There was the K_Rebbe meet at Dougie's, except K_Rebbe didn't attend, and two Torah lecture meets at which I met only myself. (And we won't talk about the 2:00 a.m. Fulton Fish Market meet.)


Ah ha! That's why she wants me there: so she won't be the oldest. I knew it wasn't for my good looks and witty personality!

My schedule for Tuesday has been resolved, so I can even come into Brooklyn for a meet.

Will there be both a Brooklyn and a Queens meet? If so, I'll wait for personal invitations, and see who wants me where. [Probably people will tell me to go to one place and then go to another. ]
