I wanted to start off by saying i hope everyone had a very happy summer and that you all enjoyed yourselves.
I wanted to get the juices flowing in all of us as to how we can continue spreading the life-saving work that we do and how you can help!
If you goto college and are part of Hillel, AEPi, Chabad on Campus or any other group why not run a bone marrow drive on campus or better yet a community drive!
This is such an amazing gift to give back.
Are you going to Israel on a birthright trip, or other student group?
Why not get all your friends involved and be tested!

You dont have have to do anything original either. (a donation is not original)

If the donor agrees to participate, the physical exam is scheduled. This includes a chest x-ray, EKG, complete blood count, chemistry and other lab tests. If cleared, the donor is scheduled for bone marrow harvest or blood stem cell donation.
Does anyone else find this phrasing to be a bit macabre? It brings to mind the "harvesting" of organs after one is deceased (or, slightly more ghoulish, grave robbing of olden days).
