For the yamim noraim, I realized that our shul has a white paroches and white cover on the bimah, but the Torahs are still dressed in their navy year round garment. I should donate three white ones, that's minhag yisroel for the Torahs to wear white, right?
But aside from online places (one in India !!!), some being crazy expensive, anyone know where to buy from directly? I hear there's a place in Monroe - anyone?

I don't think there is a specific minhag yisrael for that. but I'm sure the shul would appreciate the donation.

Yes, I did that. The cheapest ones come from India, I have no idea if I should avoid buying from there, and some others are 300 or 400 or 500.
I was hoping to buy from a place that makes it locally, if possible.

Red Hare, did anything come of this in the end? Were you successful in finding something?
