The server was very busy around that time with load averages of 20,15,14 on a dual core opteron.

In case you didn’t know, that makes absolutely no sense to non-programmers.

Nor programmers :-) -- its more of a web admin thing to know.. but using common sense id guess those are 3 different average numbers of seconds it took to load a page.. and the dual core opteron is an AMD processor.. (pentium = intel, etc..)

Close, they are server load numbers, not an indicator of how long it takes to load a web page.
