What do you think when you see a woman wearing sneakers all day, and it's not raining or snowing? Think she's lazy?
BroadwayFreak
I think that she's smart and cares about her feet.

All her crocs must be in the wash.

Either that she has foot problems or that she doesn't want to develop foot problems.

Well the topic is for the commute... I thought is was very common for women to change into sneakers when they commute to and from work.

Are these office worker people ( Shoes For The Commute) because thats an un-corporate look. But I wear sneakers some days, I just make sure to buy nice (read: cute) ones and it really doesnt matter because I work in a casual environment.

I don't judge people based on their choice in footwear...
What they SAY and how they choose to express themselves says a LOT more about their character than what they wear...

I disagree. If a girl comes over to you dressed in stilettos and a bikini and says in an earnest voice that she is a Bais Ya'akov teacher, what will you believe, her clothes or her words?

Outside of NY, sneakers are to women what simonim are to Teimani men.

It's completely possible that a woman with a long skirt, long sleeves and a wig isn't Jewish. But if you're not in NY and she's wearing sneakers, there is no doubt any more...

Are you referring to big, loud sneakers?
B/c then I agree, but certain sneakers look much more..."quiet" and normal enough.
