no, those books do base their descriptions on hair and eyes, as well as skin tone (i remembered you mentioning the person who did it for you didn't pay attention to hair, but these books do.) i actually think it only makes sense to take into account hair and eyes color; how can you judge only from the skin?
don't work too hard, i'm sure it's expensive

Elana - I found a website that should be able to help you figure this out once and for all, plus it includes a toll free number to call if you have any questions. All you need to do is follow the three easy steps listed. You can also PM me if you have any questions.
http://www.carolthompsoncosmetics.com/IBS/...sp?Comp_ID=7157Excerpt from the websiteYour season is determined by the undertone of your skin - either warm or cool. Since we can't see undertone, a draping of fabric colors is used to determine whether it's warm or cool. Our 20 years of experience has enabled us to come up with a simplified way to determine your season without the draping process by analyzing your hair and eye color.
* People with the same or similar hair color very often have
very different skin tones, which is why this usually drape your hair during the analysis. That was certainly the case with two of my sisters who are the polar opposite of me with respect to seasons. That said, this company apparently has found a way to assist you in figuring it out based on hair and eye color based on their years of experience (see above), but the
best way is still based on skin tone alone.
