Girls: Would you wear what my avatar is wearing? (In the summer, obviously.)

Personally, I think it's tzniusdik, but I would never wear it; it's just not me.
Psychodad
Get over yourself already, geez.
GoodEats!
I like it. It's a cute skirt.
Kalashnikover_Rebbe
Obviously not, but if I went out with a girl that did she would not likely qualify for a second date......
greentiger
The skirt fosure, but I was never really into those espadrills. Got nothing against the look though.

What would be wrong with it, just too short?
Ahavati
Absolutely! I'm seeing Spring festival among art galleries here! Although I do prefer cocktail length.
GoodEats!
I like other lengths as well but if it covers the knee what is the problem?

Well it's not really "too short" by itself it's the whole "look" that I don't like which may in large part have to do with
1. The shoes and 2. that you only see from the "hem down" in this picture

I won't get into the whole socks/no socks debate but in general for the no socks adherents a skirt that extends 1mm below the knee might not be such a good idea....

I didn't realize a personal preference was a problem.
GoodEats!
hmm. What if she is wearing nude panty hose?

I guess those skirts are a problem sitting down. (they go up)

if there are socks (do you mean tights in this case?), this length is ok?

to answer the OP: the skirt is on the border, would have to try it on to see what the length really looks like. the shoes - definitely not (not connected to tznius)

wth are you talking about?
GoodEats!
no need to be nasty.

I was saying what elana was saying. Is is ok with tights, in the sock situation.

As for the skirt itself I think if it covers the knees there is no problem, but most people will not try and sit down in a short skirt and see if it will ride up over the knees.
greentiger
Usually flared skirts don't go up as much when you sit down.

I wasn't being "nasty". I was simply asking.

Well yes it is because if you replace the final "h" with an "f" the forum automatically censors it.....

with such lenght (just below the knee), when you sit down, it rides up above the knee. many women are careful not to wear anything that is above the knee.

not as much, but still do. it's also much easier to re-adjust them, then straight skirts, though
Awesome!
Sure why not. i don't like espadrilles so much any more so that may be a small prob.
