When you're missing a button, how do you find another matching one?
Do you have a box of buttons you go through every time or do you go to a store?
Teeny Beeny
Firstly, I check if there are any extra buttons that came with the item in question. If not, I see if I can do away with the top button, as I usually keep it open. If that fails, if it's a standard black or white button, I see if I have a suitable replacement. If all else fails, I go to a store and match up new buttons smile.gif.

Does your lack of buttons keep you awake at night?

I save the spare buttons that come with the outfit. Other than missing men shirt button or two, I havent had problems with missing buttons. However, I was in M&J Trimming in NYC recently and now I love button stores!

It's very interesting to look through people's old collections of buttons. I wonder if there's a market for them.

Either that or a phobia of not having the right button.
