Truth is I only looked at this poll hoping to vote that I would not wear any women's bathing suit, modest or not but was disappointed to find that you thought of poll options for the guys. (Are you really a newbie or another name change?)

Is mixed swimming ok if the women wear these things? If so, it would ease tension and congestion at many bungalow colonies that are forced to designate separate hours at the pool for men and women. This could be a positive thing. On the other hand, if separate swimming is maintained and this just adds an additional level of restriction so women can't even relax and swim in comfort at the women's pool, I heartily detest the whole operation.

My understanding is this does not matir mixed swimming, but is just a more comfortable bathing suit for those who would otherwise go separate swimming in skirts and robes and snoods for reasons of general modesty aside from being around men. I find the whole idea weird, and if I am swimming with women I see no reason to not wear whatever is most comfortable, i.e. a regular bathing suit.

I think I could imagine myself wearing it to the beach.

would you go swimming at a mixed beach or pool in it? I think this is the more interesting question.

They seem to be targeted towards women who wear regular swimwear when separate-swimming who are looking for something to wear to the beach.

Most chassidishe women would not wear those (why they would not: Chassidishe women wear short sleeves and lower necklines, but looser dresses. A tight dress, and those dresses are slinky and tight, with long sleeves and high neck, would be laughed at for separate swimming in chassidishe circles, where less-"frum" women wear regular swimsuits and t-shirt coverups and more-"frum" women would not wear something tight)

I can't imagine being able to do any serious swimming in any of those. They look way too cumbersome.
