Not too bad for the first one. I liked the ending a lot. I like the idea of something a little more dramatic though. Like a TV commercial. 6 CHEFS. 24 RECIPES. 4+ HOURS OF FUN. 1 AWESOME DVD. etc.

For the second one, I like the idea but he should have put a clip from each chef, not 3 from one and none from 3.

The CD itself needs some sort of graphic/photo other than just the name and the rest is left blank..It looks like they didn't get their money's-worth, ya know? A close-up of a yummy dish would look great and fill the whole space nicely.

Where will it be advertised? There's an english-speaking channel in Israel that asks for suggestions on what to air, why not submit a commercial to them? (ESRA- English Speaking Residents Association)

i didn't like that in the second commercial there was that running line with info. i paid all my attention to what was being shown (the chefs) and what they were saying. the info in that line just kept on distracting me and i couldn't read it anyway.

but you rejected it anyway

Also, ditto what Elana said about the running line with info. It was distracting having to bounce between the text and the video.

I liked the first one better. The scrolling information on the bottom of the screen in #2 was too fast and distracting. I liked the first one b/c it gives you splashes of pertinent info, and I agree with the suggestions LTL made above on how to make a bigger splash. I also don't like how the text "flies in" or whatever you call it, if each statement just popped up it would be less complicated and more effective

I think you need to emphasize the fact that the DVD is 4 hours long, and that each recipe prints out into a beautiful colored recipe/cookbook page (can't think of a better word for that) -- that was a big selling point for me. Otherwise people might think you're charging them $x for an hour or two that they could watch on the food network for free.

Gees I have seen more lively presentations at Shomrie Hachomos, at least I dress like a cook/ chef when I work, not jeans and a t-shirt or a mumu.

I don't like the position of the book/CD at the beginning of the second presentation, as it seems to hang in midair (which it is). Boneless ribeye is missing the /e/ in bone.

I think it could do better.

The text needs work. Both written and spoken lines are lame. Spelling and grammar should be correct. Do you know the basics of marketing?
It's hard to express in writing late at night, but there are many points that need to be addressed, in order to get it right.
