Well I got fancy shoes for a chassuna for $15, Vanelli maybe?, marked down from $70. I paid more, but it wasn't Payless.

At Woodbury Common I always go to Rockport and get one pair and the second at 50% off. Beat that.

My Italian leather weekday shoes I wear every single day for 3.5 years cost something like 150 shekel. Or less
I bought a pair of Liz Claiborne shoes, fancy ones for weddings and such, at DSW. They were 80% off the DSW price, which was a markdown to $8.71 from $54 and change, but they were a LOT more than than before they were at DSW. I think I win. 
Took my roommate's shoes-supple leather, hand stitched, leather sole-and haven't seen him since.

Mine were also 80% off, but they started at a higher price. Gotta love DSW clearance! (I just got new slippers there that were "only" 40% off, and I spent 30 bucks on them. I then saw them in a catalog for 79.99. Gosh, I love wearing 80 dollar slippers
