I find the general idea of phone taps cruel. Granted, some are funny to listen to..and the pranked subjects usually end up laughing, but I think it's cruel (if it's true).

It's often hard to hear your native accent. I'm from Brooklyn too and I sound normal, everyone else has an accent.

This isn't humorous imo, Nechamah or maybe one of the others found it funny so moved my post to Hock, Humor. I posted in the Dating and Marriage forum, as it explores the issue of Jewish people's strong tensions in regards to marrying out, as did a recent previous thread in that forum which discussed intermarriage as a solution for older singles.
