If google ads, or whoever puts those advertisements, can put an advertisement on the bottom of the page based on keywords in the thread, does that mean they can also read the threads in those "restricted" forums?

It is very interesting. If someone were so inclined, they could sponsor an ad for a site related to probable topics in these forums, theoretically could get a legal look at them without having to qualify for membership.

No. The advertisers never see website content.

I don't know. I assume that pages that are targeted by google's adsense program are not indexed.

Do you have a gmail account? Are you worried that google will read your email. Are you worried that anyone from point A or B or C or however many hops your email takes will read your email?

Are you worried that hashkafah.com is by nature not a secure site?
