Would you make changes to the site if you discovered that someone was having an affair as a result of meeting someone on this site?
What changes would you make?

I know for a fact that many affairs have occured as a result of people meeting on this site.

For example, there have been L'chaims, Vorts, Weddings, etc.

Define affair.

How can this be construed as somehow H.com's/SilentJ's fault?

No. "Affair" normally connotates a form of nonmonogamy, to infidelity or to adultery. Which is why I requested clarification regarding the meaning. We all know people here are much too frum for anything like that.

I agree. That would be like complaining to the U.S. postal service if a mailman begins an affair with a woman on his delivery route. Is the postal service at fault? Would the entire postal service need to make changes based on this one situation? rolleyes.gif

Who said anything about it being his fault. I asked what changes he would make (if any)

I must've missed the "Fault" episode.

Personally, if it were my site I would make everyone pay for the indiscretion. EVERYONE. To re establish and maintain the divine frumminess that h.com excudes, I would monitor and edit all pm's prior to the recipient receiving them, by gosh. Then I would forbid the exchange of any emails. Any discovered email exchange will, and I mean will, result in a virus which will eliminate your computer (it's for your own good, trust me). I would also monitor the chat room and expel anyone who so much as winked at another person. The planning of meets would be banned along with anyone attempting to covertly circumvent this directive. All those who do attend secret meets will be shot on sight.

That's what I would do.
