How many institutions have your money currently?

I have accounts with B. of America, Vanguard, ING, Prudential, and another 401(k) plan. It is way too much and I can't keep track of it. I think I have to consolidate, even though the actual investments seem to be growing nicely. But I can't be sure because I can't be bothered to check on them in all these places...

I have no idea.
But, if you do a credit check. It will give you a list of everything.

I just wait until the end of the year when they send me my tax letter/form/etc. and see what the $$ amount is there. MOst of this money I like to pretend doesn't exist so I don't spend it.

Incorrect, like Pyschodad said. Credit agencies don't track your assets.
