We're looking to buy a computer printer/scanner/copier all in one to use at home. Do you have any recommendations? We went to check them out in-store, but after a while they seem the same.....

I bought one a while back, it's a samsung cx 4200 or perhaps a xc 2400, but I'm very happy with it. It is not color because I use it to make hundreds of copies for school, and the inkjet printers are really only for occasional document copying. (they run out after a few hundred copies.) So I got this printer which is laser and only prints black and white.
I've been fine with the scanner, though I use it mostly to wow my daughter by putting her book pictures onto the computer screen! It's pretty quick. (It scans in color too.)
I think it cost me about 250 bucks in best buy.

Dell photo 964, never used for printing photographs. So far I'm happy with it.

If you go color make sure you get one with 4 separate inks so you don't have to replace the whole thing when one color runs out.
Also do NOT buy Lexmark. They don't have generic ink and the original costs a fortune....
I just got a good deal on an Epson CX4300 for 299 shmeck in Israel so it is probably like 30-40 bucks in the US...

lyric thanks for reminding me!
We got a HP PHOTOSMART C5180 on a Black Friday Sale. We printed out one 4x6 photograph on photo paper and were very impressed. It has 6 inks which I thought was unusual.
(Im so excited to have a scanner- I need to remember to scan an ad to for a new h.com thread)
