Oh, I can talk all right...but dh, dd, and ds decided they don't want to hear any more about my friends or the posts online the different boards I am on, or other ppl that they don't know/don't care about.
How much can you discuss dinner and Shabbos, after all! I started learning Megilas Rus, but they didn't know the answers to my ques so I had to post them here anyway !!!!
It's been very quiet at home lately ................
when I want to discuss something we've been discussing here, I say something like, "I heard of a girl who goes to shul three times a day, what do you think of that?" and often bring in perspectives mentioned here as per responses.
Or if it's a dvar torah say, "There's a beautiful dvar Torah I saw somewhere today..." and say it.
Or if it's an obscure halacha, "Did you know there's a halacha that people shouldn't look at their menus on Shabbos?"
(edit: and like someone said, discuss their lives. What do they like to talk about?)
