How do you set the screen to display on the Eos Rebel? For some reason my friend can't figure it out! Help!

You mean when you take the picture? Or after you take the picture?

You can't set it to display when you take the picture! That's for n00bs!!! Real men - err photographers use the viewfinder.

To display after you take the picture there is a setting to auto show it and for how many seconds or you could just push the button two from the bottom on the left side marked play.

Apparantly it's not possible to see through the display screen on a reflex.

On an SLR you don't need the display because you are already seeing what the camera sees.

Besides for the exposure which could make a huge difference. I suppose with digital though you have things so much easier.

Well it depends... for standard and pose shots it's no problem since you do have the display after you take the shot.

For action shots it's a bit trickier. I hate to admit it but for those sometimes it's best to let the camera figure it out itself -especially with the rebel since there is only one dial- unless you are going for some special effect. Hamavin Yavin.

Also sometimes things may appear overexposed in the LCD when they are actually just fine.
