This looks like a decent human hair wig with adjustable straps on the cap. Why is it so cheap?

Probably from an Oriental country where hair is cheaper, and a different texture and needs more processing.
In addition, hair might be sewn in haphazardly, with some going the wrong direction, guaranteeing tangles.

I noticed that it said that it normally sells for $200+.

That, to me, is a tip off right there. If it were a $800-1200 wig, it would have said so.

The seller has very good feedback, though.

My guess is that frum women have different expectations than the population at large, though.

I agree. Its likely oriental, which is always over processed. Oriental hair also lacks body, and doesn't hold a set well.

The wigs machine tied, so it won't be haphazardly sewn. and since it is that cheap the nap has certainly been stripped, so it won't knot.

Basically don't waste your money, unless it has a money back guarantee, skip it.

What everybody else said. Even from the pictures the hair looks very obviously asian and overprocessed. It won't be as natural-looking a wig (because asian hair does NOT remotely resemble caucasian hair in texture or movement) and due to the heavy processing, it won't last as long and will start looking worn-out earlier. A lot of people justify the astronomical expenses of european hair shaitelach because virgin, unprocessed hair lasts much longer than synthetics or asian hair that has been put through a ton of processing.

Since there's only one left in stock, it might be a clearance item. It might also be manufactured in China or SE Asia, making it less expensive (but as it was mentioned before, using Asian hair that has certain disadvantages).

You're not allowed to call them that anymore, they don't like it... Its like calling a black guy a "negro" or "colored".
The current term is "Asian" until further notice...
That's one of the few things I learned in college....
