Sigh. By now I can believe that. But for the first few months after the death, all I wished I could do was hug him tightly and make him warm. I just couldn't stop thinking how cold it must be for him. Illogical, I know. But nothing about the death of a baby is logical. I mean, he was just warm and safe in my womb. I couldn't, or maybe didn't want to believe that he really can't feel.
