Try disabling the porn guard feature.

Voos?
bigtoe
you unplugged everything, let it sit that way for a few mins. and restarted?

Did you just upgrade?

Toe, I downloaded the new version, didn't help. It keeps on closing on me. I have shut it down a few times since I installed it. It wasn't an upgrade. It was an installment. I had this on my PC.

Is the software/driver compatible with your operating system? Did you try disabling all anti-virus programs first? Did you try having Windows pick its own drivers after recognizing the new device?

I'm on a mac, and yes, it's compatible. I don't have an anti virus program. I just click on the epson app. and it opens. I start scanning and then it shuts down.

Try reinstalling it from scratch (if you didn't already) and try to find the preference files and trash them.
This sounds like something got corrupted.
Either that or it is clashing with something else you have installed in the background...

I have an epson all in one and it works without a hitch BA"H...

I want to make sure I'm doing this correctly. How do I uninstall the program?

It depends. If they are competent, the installer will have an uninstall option and will actually remove all the preference and cache files etc...

If not you may have to find them and delete them yourself.
