A message popped up a few hours ago from Norton Antivirus, something about a bad script error. I clicked something, and then something else-- go ahead and tell me how stupid that was, but it's every day that Norton pops up, I click something, and it goes away.
Anyway, now I have a constant flow of pop-up windows in Internet Explorer, opening to all sorts of random websites, including some TV listings site and the March of Dimes. Our computer is running slow these days anyway, and now it's practically disabled, it's so slow and kvetchy.
What did I do?? Did I download a virus? Halp!!

I see now that I somehow have engaged a program called "Advertisement by Outerinfo-- Microsoft Internet Explorer".
How do I make it go away?
