If you could take one sefer (in English, either a smallish softcover or those pocketsized hardcovers*) to Israel on vacation with you, what would you take?

Before making Aliiyah I would always travel with my Mesillat Yersharim in my hand luggage.
(Later I added kehati mishnayos as well - but you're a girl.)

Kehati is my favor sefer but I don't have the pocket sized ones and I'm not going to buy just one volume for this trip.

And also Garden of the Souls is also very good.
But she doesn't seem to be suffering, so I think something like Chovot haLevavot, Mesillat Yesharim, Derech HaShem, Orchos Tzadikim would be good.
