One thing I can tell you about Eilat; kashrus is very
schvach. Especially now during shmitta year. We were just in Eilat last week. We rented a small villa for 3 nights and took most everything food wise with us. There is only one fleishig mehadrin restaurant in Eilat and one mehadrin pizza place and that's it. We had to go to the same place to eat every night and two out of the three nights it was so crowded we were turned away and had to come back later. We have stayed in some stunning hotels there on past visits but we have never eaten in any of them, not even breakfast. We liked the Royal Garden hotel; we had a garden apartment there that had its own kitchen so we made our own food. The weather too was colder than expected. I didn't wear a t shirt once. Sweaters, with or without a jacket but always sweaters. However the sun shone brilliantly all day.One of my friends said she hated the prost-ness of the market area (between the hotels and town), but personally I loved it and didn't find it prost. I bought a knockoff D&G handbag, sunglasses, and some cute little gifts. Also bought two pairs of running shoes in a sports store for about half the price it would cost me in London (274 NIS).

Any other good travel agents you know of on Rechov Yaffa or in town... to book for a hotel in Eilat?
You can book hotel rooms in Eilat online from wherever you are now, you don't need a travel agent.
