Full Version: Kite Runner
Anyone read these books? Worth a read?
3 people who read Kite Runner told me it's amazing; it received a lot of positive reviews from critics. I have yet to read it though.

Need to cry? I just read about (and I'm checking on the authenticity of) two 10 yr old boys who while in a shopping mall in england (?) took a 3 yo by the hand and walked him outside, started to taunt and torture him, kicked him around, cut off his fingers with scissors, did other horrific stuff then left him on the train tacks to cover up the evidence..now supposedly they're being set free to live in australia under new names having served not even half of their sentence..if that doesn't make someone cry I don't know what will..so horrendous!

Argh! Why are they being set free and why do they need new ID's? Oh, and did the boy survive? I assume not.
