Disobedience
by A. A. Milne

James James
Morrison Morrison
Weatherby George Dupree
Took great
Care of his Mother,
Though he was only three.
James James Said to his Mother,
"Mother," he said, said he;
"You must never go down
to the end of the town,
if you don't go down with me."

James James
Morrison's Mother
Put on a golden gown.
James James Morrison's Mother
Drove to the end of the town.
James James Morrison's Mother
Said to herself, said she:
"I can get right down
to the end of the town
and be back in time for tea."

King John
Put up a notice,
"LOST or STOLEN or STRAYED!
JAMES JAMES MORRISON'S MOTHER
SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN MISLAID.
LAST SEEN
WANDERING VAGUELY:
QUITE OF HER OWN ACCORD,
SHE TRIED TO GET DOWN
TO THE END OF THE TOWN -
FORTY SHILLINGS REWARD!"

James James
Morrison Morrison
(Commonly known as Jim)
Told his
Other relations
Not to go blaming him.
James James
Said to his Mother,
"Mother," he said, said he:
"You must never go down to the end of the town
without consulting me."

James James
Morrison's mother
Hasn't been heard of since.
King John said he was sorry,
So did the Queen and Prince.
King John
(Somebody told me)
Said to a man he knew:
If people go down to the end of the town, well,
what can anyone do?"

(Now then, very softly)
J.J.
M.M.
W.G.Du P.
Took great
C/0 his M*****
Though he was only 3.
J.J. said to his M*****
"M*****," he said, said he:
"You-must-never-go-down-to-the-end-of-the-town-
if-you-don't-go-down-with-ME!"

Sha'aleh: Did she ever come back home?

Clearly not, since she "hasn't been heard of since". I guess I don't get the perversion here...can you break character for a moment and explain it?

Btw, I rather dislike your current sig.

I don't know what perversion means. In this context at least...

My current sig, quoted here for future generations:
Hide not your talents, they for use were made. What's a sun-dial in the shade? ~ Benjamin Franklin

How can you dislike something written by Lillith's great-great-great-great-great-great-Uncle? Did you post here?

In an odd way, I'd love to know what makes mosheshmeal tick.

I meant it in the traditional context normally applied to you and your commentary.

Kind of you.

I find it boring and mundane. And rather out of the 2-dimensional character mold you usually present.

QUOTE
Did you post here?

No. What is the relevance?

Jimmy was a troubled man from early in his youth. He was violently abusive and controlling of his poor, weak-willed mother, and eventually she p***'d him off enough that he wacked her. He then warned the rest of the family to fall in line or they'd be next.

You've lost me. Start again. Pretend you're talking to a 5 year old.

It may surprise you, but my signatures are not necessarily there for your entertainment. But I appreciate the feedback.

How sweet.

QUOTE
No. What is the relevance?

I thought that would have been self-evident.

Wow, I think you're the troubled one. You remind me of Grandma.
