Anyone know of tape that will stick to brick?

Visit your local dance studio or theater, ask them where they get the stage marking tape.

Keep in mind that bricks retain surface moisture which eventually loosens any tape.

And if it doesn't work stam, you can try melting it on....

You probably mean gaffer tape. Leaves no residue and can be reused in many instances.


Anyway, try black hockey tape. I've used thick, 2" rolls, nice & strong. Sporting good stores would probably carry it.

Gorilla tape (Walgreen's has it)

Loctite Power Grab (avail. at Home Depot)


As an aside, you're sticking the plastic up outside or have brick walls indoors? Why not fasten the plastic to the ceiling and floor? (how thick is your sheeting? A few ¢ more for a thicker mm makes all the difference in winter).

btw: the gaffer brand is Permacel® (made in Lakewood, NJ of all places!).
Pick it up at any good camera store worth it's salt (like Adorama or B&H etc.)
