Olvera Street-The original central square of Mexican-era Los Angeles. Like going to Mexico.
Morro Bay- Small fishing town north of LA. Bay has a large Gibraltar-like rock. Very beautiful views of the ocean. Feels more like Cape Cod than California. Good, relatively inexpensive places to stay.
San Simeon- North of LA. Visit newspaper tycoon Hearst's gaudy, ostentatious palace.
Big Sur-South of San Francisco. Forest ending in cliff over the ocean. Famous hippie psychologist Fritz Perls used to bring his followers here. Awesome views.
Carmel- South of SF. Beautiful gardens, shopping, nice views of the ocean.
San Francisco Chinatown: Largest Chinatown outside of Asia.
San Francisco Japantown: Large mall complex with stores, restaurants, hotels, spas. Closest thing to going to Japan without actually crossing the Pacific. Awesome spa at the Kabuki hotel.
Alcatraz: Former federal penitentiary on an island.
John Muir Woods: North of San Francisco: See the world's largest trees, the California redwoods, in this national park. Amazing

The usual tourist stuff. Sea World and the SF Zoo. In LA, theres Universal, Disney, Paramount, 20th Century Fox etc... And the famed Rodeo Drive.

While there is a zoo in SF, something tells me you meant the SD Zoo...

In LA... Disney
Disneyland is in Anaheim, and if you're already in Anaheim you might as well go to Knott's Berry Farm too.

At any rate, northern CA is for adults, southern CA is for kids.

You're right, my mistake. Although you might wanna be on the lookout for tigers on the loose. Im not sure where Anaheim is in relation to LA, but I vaguely remember passing signs to Disney on the way to Universal. But I may be wrong.

It not for you I wouldnt have done anything different. Either way, isnt it cool that three of them were silver Mustangs?

You wouldnt have felt so pressured if I had kept my fat mouth shut. Yeah it was pretty cool, although a street full of car parts is never a nice scene.
