His one helicopter? If you take a look at the sky, there are a good 3+ that fly by periodically throughout the day. They're probably for security.

According to what I heard (and I'm hearing this from my sister who's a nurse in Shaarei Tzedek and her whole schedule's messed up tomorrow because of it, so it's accurate) he was supposed to go today (Thurs) and switched to tomorrow. So now people are gonna be stuck and not be able to get in and out of Bayit Vegan. I gotta say, this guy isn't making a very good impression on me. All he's doing is messing up traffic everywhere.

obviously he's not if they're closing streets for him to get there. Teachers don't live in the neighborhood necessarily, so just cuz the kids can get there doesn't mean the teachers can. And it doesn't matter if he uses his helicopter to GET there, apparently they don't want him to hear what a bus sounds like.

Even though he's being helicoptered over unless the weather dictates otherwise, his entourage drives in so they block the roads for them.

The great disruption to daily life in EY during Bush's visit reflects, imho, Bush's visible sense of entitlement. At the press conference with Olmert he basic
lly acted like he owned the place. (Olmert was acting like his puppy dog which
was pretty annoying).
Well, during the press conference there were a few goodies, like an Israeli reporter and Bush laughing together at Olmert to his face. (the bald guy)

On the other hand, perhaps by having sort of a taste of the disruptions the Palestinians go through constantly (minus the humiliations) might help some people understand the other point of view in the conflict and maybe,
just maybe, create some sympathy.

I somehow suspect that the underlying criterion for tormenting anyone was not if they are settlers. Who would have been more likely to have been harrassed - a frum kipah-srugah wearing Sephardi from Petach Tikva, or a secular resident of Maaaaaale Adumim?

Actually, you need to look very closely at the note. You can tell that he wrote,
"God Ble", then stopped and asked his aide, "Is 'bless' spelled with one 's' or two?"
Then he wrote "Isr," then stopped and asked, "Is it 'eal' or 'ael'?"
