And yeah they aren't full pantyhose but they are basically the same material just thicker.....

So on Sunday I was at Syms, and went into the men's dressing room to try on a pair of pants. The Syms dressing room doesn't have individual stalls, but rather it's just one big open space, like a locker room.

I discovered that I was the ony guy there wearing thermal underwear (blue polypropylene). I was also the one with tzitzit. I felt a little self-conscious.

[It was quite cold on Sunday, but I guess thermal underwear isn't that popular with New York men.]

What? The locker-room style dressing room? I haven't seen Syms's lady's dressing room, so it's possible more privacy is provided there. Do you need a dressing room for shoes? I don't know how frum you are. Their prices on shoes are probably okay, but I see models there that I don't see on the manufacturer's website or on E-Bay, and I don't know if they are close-outs or if they are specially made for Syms, in which case they may be a lesser quality than the manufacturer's models that sell at the department stores.

i remember being in one store in bp and another - in flatbush with a locker style fitting rooms -ewww. didn't think they existed in big department stores.

I've found the best place to get L'eggs pantyhose is Walmart. It comes in a multipack or 3 or 4 and costs about $3.99.

are they the silky variety? cause the pharmacies also have those multipacks (and knee-highs, too), but they are plain, not silky ones.
