This is my version of a sweet, teriyaki-type sauce that I used for pepper steak and was delicious to dip the meat into as well.
Of course, I have no exact measurements, but make to taste.
Around 1/3 C. soy sauce (low-sodium), 1/3 C. molasses, and some pineapple juice (I used pineapple-orange juice). Mix well. I marinated the pepper steak in this and poured the extra sauce into the pan and let boil for a minute...Otherwise you can heat up and dip kebabs or whatever in it.
You can use brown sugar instead of the molasses, but as blackstrap molasses are good for iron levels I've been trying to incorporate it when possible instead.
