Some types of vacuuming leave more mess than they clean up.

So? Does YouTube have anything against messy videos? And you might want to get such a vacuum check, maybe the filter is missing or something like that.

Nah, one usually shouldn't keep such vacuums for long. Move on to the next one.

Listen, I have a strong feeling that you have never used a vacuum. Used properly they make no mess at all. Possibly, when dumping out the bag (when it gets full) you can accidentally let some dust out, but if you are careful there is no mess whatsoever. I think the problem may be that you're using disposable vacuums! Buy a decent model and it can last for years if not decades.

You're wrong. And I wasn't talking about myself at all in the previous posts, I was only talking in theory. And the theory is that if you happen to come upon defective vacuums that make a mess and spit all the dust back out, you should move on to ones with proper dust intake. Once you find a model that does that, you should keep it.

Did you study vacuum theory in college? Because you should get your diploma revoked in that case. No current vacuums on the market spit all the dust back out, plain and simple, even if "defective". Find me just one case where that has happened. You might be able to drive a Hummer but I doubt you could make sense of a Hoover.

Collecting dust into another receptacle, such as a dust pan, and leaving it there, can lead to such consequences.

Dust pans are for brooms, not vacuums. You are comparing apples to oranges. And frankly most household dust particles do not result in noticable bacterial growth even if left in a dust pan. Whatever you do, please never clean my house, thanks.

It's ok, I have enough houses to clean, I don't need to clean yours. In any case, you're missing out, I'm very proficient with my broom.
